Working hours

We try our best to please you and meet your requirements every second of the day. During summer, our reception desk is open all day long. During off-season, we adjust our working hours to the requirements and number of guests that are staying in the campsite. If the reception desk is closed, guests can use the alternative info system in agreement with Danica Inn that is located opposite the reception desk.

Arrivals and departures

Arrivals are possible all day long (between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm arrivals are most desirable). At arrival, guests are required to submit their personal documents for registration purposes; however, we give them back immediately.

If you want to access our campsite with a personal vehicle, you must also submit a license plate number (registration number) at the time of check-in.

Departures are possible between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm. Departures before 8.00 am are possible, if the invoice is settled on the day before departure. If guests leave the campsite after 1.00 pm, we charge additional day.

Stay on a plot may not be extended without the prior approval of the receptionist.

If the time of departure is exceeded on the non-fixed plots of the campsite (until 13:00), an extra night is charged to the guest in accordance with the valid price list.

If there is a justifiable reason for an early departure (force majeure), the guest must announce the departure one day in advance before departure, i.e. by 10:00 at the campsite’s reception desk, in the opposite case additional day’s stay shall be charged in accordance with the valid price list.

Booking terms

We accept reservations for a minimum of 3 nights.

In the case of an early departure, the minimum of 3 nights is charged as per the valid price list.

To confirm the reservation, a 30% advance payment of the entire amount is required. The payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer or credit card. The final price of stay can differ from the offer and be charged at arrival of guests with regard to the actual data about the guests and their stay at the campsite.

Reservation is made when the advance payment is received and the Danica Campsite (TD Bohinj) sends a written confirmation.

Payment

Invoice can be settled at the reception desk with cash or payment card (Maestro, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Visa). Discounts are considered upon the submission of valid membership cards.

Reservation cancellation

Guests are entitled to the reimbursement of advance payment upon written cancellation of reservation:
– up to 30 days before arrival: 90% of reservation amount
– up to 21 days before arrival: 60 % of reservation amount
– up to 14 days before arrival: 40% of reservation amount
– up to 8 days before arrival: 20% of reservation amount
– from 7 days to 1 day before arrival the advance payment shall not be reimbursed.

If the reservation is cancelled less than 1 day before arrival in July and August (or on the day of arrival) the entire agreed amount of the reserved stay up to 3 days shall be charged.

Complaints

Any irregularities or deficiencies shall be reported on site, i.e. at the Danica Campsite reception desk (book of complaints and comments) on the same day when such an irregularity is established.

A written complaint can be submitted in thirty (30) days from the last day of stay.

The complaint must be explained and contain appropriate evidence, and sent to: TD Bohinj, Kamp Danica, Triglavska c. 60, 4264 Bohinjska Bistrica. Complaints sent after the determined period shall not be considered.

Additional services

LATE DEPARTURES DURING OFF-SEASON

During off-season, guests can depart the campsite until 5.00 pm. The only condition is that the invoice has to be paid until 1.00 pm at the latest, and the reception desk needs to be informed on such late departure.

FREE SKE BUS AND DISCOUNTS ON SKI PASSES

Guests of Danica Campsite can spend a great time on snow at low prices. You can ride to Vogel Ski Centre by free bus and avoid the nerve wrecking search for a parking space. You can also get up to 20% discount on the purchase of ski passes in Bohinj.

BOHINJ AQUAPARK

We offer 10% discount on all services of Bohinj Aquapark all year round.

All working hours can be changed before and after the main season.

Other staying conditions

Guests are kindly requested to take into account the general conditions and the House Rules of Camp Danica.

The camp must not accommodate more persons than the registered guests.

Pets are allowed at an additional charge according to the price list.

For unreported guests and unregistered pets we charge 50 EUR/person/day.

Visitors do not have access to the to the campsite with the vehicle, they must leave it at an outdoor parking place.

Take care of the inventory in the campsite, turn off the lights and close the plumbing taps, save with water and electricity.

We do not take responsibility for theft of personal belongings.

Respect other guests and behave like them, as you would like them to be with you.

Do not disturb order, peace, and respect the rules of the Danica Campsites, especially in the night hours (from 23.00 to 07.00)
