Peč (viewpoint)

The viewpoint is located on a good 50 meters height below 720 meters high Peč, a peak that in the west separates Lower from the Upper Bohinj Valley. We have a beautiful view to the Bohinj Lake and the part of the Lower Bohinj mountains.

From the famous bridge in Ribčev Laz, we take the road leading towards Stara Fužina, and we continue the path along the sidewalk to Stara Fužina. At the beginning of the mentioned place we see the signs for the climbing area Peč, Rudnica and the cycle path, which direct us right onto the bridge over the Mostnica River. On the other side of the bridge we continue straight ahead, and then a few steps forward, when the bicycle path turns right, we continue straight on the footpath in the direction of Peč and Rudnica. The way forward leads us through the woods, and there, too, leads us through some shorter sightseeing. After a few minutes of ascent the path goes down to the right in the direction of Peč (straight Rudnica).
Follow the route towards the right and the path leads us to a pleasant sightseeing.
