The general terms and conditions of the Turistično društvo Bohinj online store are compiled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot, Official Gazette RS, No. 98/2004-UPB2, 126/2007, and 86/2009), based on the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international codes of electronic commerce.
The general terms and conditions govern the operation of the online store, the rights of the buyer, and the business relationship between the buyer and the seller or online store operator.
The operator of the online store on the website www.tdbohinj.si is Turistično društvo Bohinj, Ribčev Laz 48, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero.
By using the website, you agree to the terms of business, so please read them carefully. Turistično društvo Bohinj reserves the right to change the general terms and conditions of the online store.
AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION
The provider undertakes to always provide the customer with the following information:
- the identity of the company (name and registered office, registration number),
- contact details enabling fast and effective communication (e-mail, phone),
- availability of products (each product or service listed on the website should be available within a reasonable timeframe),
- conditions of product delivery or service performance (method, place, and delivery time),
- method of payment,
- clearly, transparently and unambiguously stated product and service prices, including whether they include taxes and any other charges,
- validity period of the offer,
- the period within which it is still possible to withdraw from the contract and the conditions for withdrawal, as well as the cost of returning the product or canceling the service,
- an explanation of the complaint procedure, including all contact information for the person to whom the consumer can address their complaint.
The provider Turistično društvo Bohinj offers products and food from local suppliers, tourist accommodation services, and tourist experience services via the website www.tdbohinj.s. The general terms and conditions apply to all services and products and are binding on the consumer or buyer.
CONTRACT – ORDER
- The purchase contract between the provider and the buyer is concluded when the provider confirms the order and the buyer receives a confirmation email. From this moment, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to all contracting parties (both the provider and the buyer).
- By confirming the purchase, the buyer accepts the provider’s terms of business. The contract concluded by the provider and the buyer is permanently stored at the headquarters of Turistično društvo Bohinj, Ribčev Laz 48, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero, or on a properly secured remote server. The user may request a copy of this contract at any time. Requests must be submitted by email to: [email protected]
- The buyer receives a copy of the contract after placing the order to their email address.
PRICES
The prices of products and services are listed in euros / € and are valid on the day of purchase. Prices do not include delivery costs. Once the buyer confirms the order in the online store, the published prices at the time of order apply. Prices are clearly marked in the online store and apply equally to all customers.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. If a price changes due to an error during the online order process or if the ordered product runs out of stock, the buyer will be informed by email and offered the option to withdraw from the contract or replace it with another comparable product or service offered by the provider.
PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS
General and promotional offers of products and services, as well as their prices, are valid until revoked or while supplies last.
Turistično društvo Bohinj reserves the right to remove products and services from the offer without prior notice.
DELIVERY, SHIPPING, AND PRODUCT PICKUP
Products are delivered by Pošta Slovenije or another distribution company, depending on the agreement or contractual relationship with the provider. You may choose the delivery method during the purchase process. Delivery is made to the address you provided during registration or order. If you are not available at the time of delivery, you will receive a notice in your mailbox that the item is waiting for you at the nearest post office.
Shipping fees are calculated according to the current price list of Pošta Slovenije:
– domestic delivery
– international delivery
The delivery time for an ordered product is 5 working days. If the product is out of stock, you will be informed of the situation and delivery options.
Delivery is carried out within Slovenia. For delivery outside of Slovenia, please inquire in advance at: [email protected].
The provider Turistično društvo Bohinj undertakes to properly package and dispatch the ordered products within the delivery time to the buyer’s address.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Turistično društvo Bohinj undertakes to protect the data of customers and members (personal data, purchase information). Customer data is strictly confidential and handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette RS, No. 59/1999, 57/2001, 59/2001-correction) and the Consumer Protection Act – ZVPot-UPB1 (Official Consolidated Text, Official Gazette RS, No. 14/03). All data obtained through the Turistično društvo Bohinj online store and collected data may only be used for order execution. Registration and/or entry of personal data in the online store is solely required for the correct execution of the services. Customer data will never be forwarded to unauthorized third parties.
Request to access personal data
The process of ordering a gift voucher is as follows: fill out the form with the required information (name and surname, email address where you wish to receive the offer and payment details), and under “notes” enter the value of the voucher in euros and the address where you wish the voucher to be sent. At the end, you must read and agree to the general terms and the Privacy Policy. If you wish to receive our newsletter, you can also subscribe at this step. Complete the purchase by clicking the “Send inquiry” button. After this step, you will also receive a confirmation email with a summary of your order.

Payment information (pro forma invoice for bank transfer to our account) will be sent to your email within 24 hours of purchase. After the payment is received, the gift voucher will be sent to you by post.
PAYMENT
Payment in the online store can be made based on the offer via pro forma invoice by transfer to our bank account No. SI56 0700 0000 0013 767, opened at GB Kranj, or directly with payment cards (Mastercard, Diners, Visa, or Activa). The buyer will receive an invoice with itemized costs together with the products. Payment is only possible in a single installment.
All issued invoices are stored at the company headquarters. Customers may request a copy of the invoice at any time via email: [email protected].
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM PURCHASE OF TOURIST SERVICES: ACCOMMODATION AND EXPERIENCES
The guest or service subscriber has the right to cancel the reservation at the same place where the reservation was made. If the guest cancels a partially paid order, Turistično društvo Bohinj is entitled to administrative cancellation costs amounting to 10% of the total for each cancellation.
In addition to administrative costs, the agency may also charge the client cancellation costs by retaining the received advance payment. The cancellation fee depends on the time prior to the service date at which the cancellation occurs:
- The guest is entitled to a refund of the paid advance upon written cancellation of stay:
– up to 30 days before arrival: 90% of the advance
– up to 21 days before arrival: 60% of the advance
– up to 14 days before arrival: 40% of the advance
– up to 8 days before arrival: 20% of the advance
– from 7 to 1 day before arrival: the advance is non-refundable
Exceptions apply only in cases of force majeure. The same applies if the client does not show up and has not canceled the reservation in advance. In such cases, the full confirmed booking amount may be charged.
If the guest leaves the accommodation without payment, Turistično društvo Bohinj will charge the credit card used for the reservation. The charged amount equals the outstanding balance.
In case of changes to the arrangement at the guest’s request or due to force majeure, not caused by Turistično društvo Bohinj, the guest is not entitled to compensation or a price reduction. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Turistično društvo Bohinj, Ribčev Laz 48, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero, or via email: [email protected].

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM PURCHASE, RETURN OF GOODS ORDERED IN THE SOUVENIR SHOP
In accordance with Article 43 of the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the buyer has the right to notify the seller within 14 days of receiving the goods that they are withdrawing from the contract, without needing to state a reason. The period begins on the date the goods are received.
The withdrawal must be communicated to the seller via email at [email protected] or by post to Turistično društvo Bohinj, Ribčev Laz 48, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero.
A copy of the invoice must be included with the returned goods.
The only cost to the buyer in connection with withdrawal is the cost of returning the goods.
The returned goods must be sent by post to the seller’s address. The provider is not obliged to accept shipments with cash on delivery or those that do not comply with the general terms and conditions.
The buyer must return the product undamaged, in its original packaging, and in the original quantity unless the product was damaged, spoiled, lost, or altered due to reasons beyond the buyer’s control. The buyer may not use the products freely until withdrawing from the contract and is only allowed to inspect and test the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature. If the product has been used beyond what is necessary for testing, the seller has the right to claim compensation for the reduced value.
The consumer bears the return shipping cost.
The refund will be made as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after the provider receives the cancellation notice and the returned product. Until the item is returned, the provider reserves the right to withhold the refund. Refunds will be made in the same manner as the original payment (to the buyer’s card or bank account).
The return of the received goods within the withdrawal period is considered a cancellation notice.
The buyer does not have the right to withdraw from a contract for goods made to their specifications or clearly personalized. There is also no right of withdrawal for perishable goods, newspapers, magazines, and other cases specified in the Consumer Protection Act.
MATERIAL DEFECTS
The buyer may exercise their rights for material defects if they notify the seller within two months of discovering the defect.
The buyer must describe the defect in detail and allow the seller to inspect the product.
Notification may be submitted in person, by post to the store where the product was purchased, or to the provider’s representative with whom the contract was concluded.
The seller is not liable for defects discovered more than two years after the product was delivered.
If a defect arises within six months of delivery, it is presumed the defect existed at the time of delivery.
Consumer rights regarding material defects expire two years from the date the defect was reported.
TECHNICAL MEANS FOR IDENTIFYING AND CORRECTING ERRORS BEFORE ORDER PLACEMENT
Before the order is submitted, a preview of the order will be shown, allowing the buyer to check the entered information.
If there are errors, the buyer can go back in the cart using the back arrow and correct them. If the buyer does not wish to complete the order, they can simply exit the page before confirming the order.
COMMUNICATION VIA ADVERTISING MESSAGES
The provider may contact the customer via remote communication means, unless the customer explicitly objects. Promotional emails will include:
- clear identification of the sender,
- clear and unambiguous labeling of the messages as advertisements,
- clear labeling of promotions and marketing techniques,
- clear terms of participation,
- a clear method for unsubscribing from promotional messages, which will be respected immediately upon request.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The provider maintains high internal standards for handling orders, returns, and complaints and strives to meet current consumer expectations and legal regulations.
In accordance with Article 7(6) of the Electronic Commerce Act (ZEPT), the provider declares that it is not a signatory to any code of conduct for online retailers.
COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
The seller complies with applicable consumer protection laws (ZVPot) and is committed to providing an effective complaint handling system. The seller will confirm receipt of the complaint within five (5) working days and will inform the buyer of how long the resolution will take and keep them updated on progress.
The contact person for complaints related to accommodations is the head of the TIC and reception; for the souvenir shop, the manager. The complaint process is confidential.
Turistično društvo Bohinj strives to resolve disputes out of court.
The provider does not recognize any out-of-court dispute resolution providers.
