Route description:
The tour starts at Lake Bohinj, where you will enjoy a peaceful walk by the water, surrounded by dense forest vegetation. The trail runs along the edge of the lake, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Triglav National Park. Lake Bohinj is the largest lake in Slovenia and its turquoise water is beautiful every moment of the day.
After a few kilometres of walking, you will approach the start of the trail to the Savica waterfall. The trail starts in the village of Ukanc and is easy to access, suitable for all ages. The path to the waterfall is partly wooded and partly asphalted, making for an easy walk. Along the way, you will come across a number of information boards that will tell you about the history of the area and the importance of nature.
