Every year, spring in Bohinj comes alive with the energy of nature and movement – and this year will be no different! You are invited to the 16th Hike to the Savica Waterfall, which opens the hiking season every year.
This recreational hike is suitable for all ages, offering three different routes through the picturesque nature of the Triglav National Park to one of Slovenia’s most beautiful pearls – the Savica Waterfall.
When you pay the entry fee, you will receive:
- welcome with homemade sausage,
- a gift T-shirt,
- snacks and drinks at the finish line,
- a panoramic boat trip on Lake Bohinj (return from Ukanc to Ribčev Laz).
Registration fee till 22th 04. 2026:
- Adults: 10 €
- Children (ages 0–13.99) 8€
Registration fee after 22th 04. 2026 or on the day of the hike:
- Adults: 12 €
- Children (ages 0–13.99) 10 €

Ribčev Laz (in front of the Information Center, Ribčev Laz 48): at 9 a.m.

Ukanc (in front of the Ukanc restaurant): at 10:30 a.m.
- Starting point for the trail to Savica Waterfall (in front of the souvenir shop): at 12:00 PM

Terms and Conditions:
Anyone who pays the entry fee is a participant in the hike. All participants are required to follow the organizer’s instructions. The organizer is not liable for any material or physical damage caused by a participant to themselves or other participants. Persons under the age of 14 may participate in the hike only if accompanied by a parent or adult.
