CEBE Triathlon Steelmen Bohinj – a legendary challenge in the heart of the Triglav National Park
In the most beautiful corner of Slovenia, where nature and inner strength meet, an event that goes beyond sport comes to life every year. The Triathlon Steelmen is more than just a test of the body – it is a tribute to individual perseverance, determination and courage.
With its long tradition and unforgettable character, it is one of the oldest triathlons in the country. But what really sets it apart is its unique composition and the breathtaking scenery of Lake Bohinj, the mountains of Pokljuka and Vele Polje under the mighty Triglav.
Steel participants embark on an epic journey:
- 8 km kayak paddling – to the picturesque Ukanc and back / 5 km SUP – to mark and back, on the crystal surface of the lake / 1.8 km swimming – between Sv. Janez and Kramar
- 16 km mountain biking – over Uskovnica to Pokljuka
- 10 km run uphill – over Konjščica mountain to the finish at Vodnikova hut
Each stage tells its own story, and each participant writes it in his or her own way – with the strength of body and mind. It’s not just a competition, it’s an experience that stays with you.
