Climbing school and courses
We have a variety of climbing courses for beginners. The Bohinj Climbing School offers courses for adults and children, as well as individual tuition. Both short and longer courses are available, where you will learn the basics of climbing and acquire the necessary skills to climb safely at natural climbing areas such as Pod Skalco and Bellevue.
For more experienced climbers, we offer the possibility of guided climbing in the Bohinj climbing areas, where you will be accompanied by an expert instructor. This is a great opportunity for those who want to improve their climbing skills.
Danica artificial climbing wall: try your hand indoors
If the natural conditions for climbing are unfavourable, there is no reason to worry! In Bohinj, you can climb on an almost 11-metre high artificial climbing wall in the Danica multi-purpose hall. With 60 climbing routes ranging in difficulty from 4 to 7c, it’s the ideal place to practice and try out new skills. The climbing wall is equipped with cushions for fall safety, so it is also suitable for beginners.
