Welcome to Apartments Škantar, located at 600 metres from Lake Bohinj. Three fully furnished flats and one room with a bathroom are available from us. Additionally, every unit has Wi-Fi internet connection and a balcony.

In addition to enjoying views of the surrounding peaks and our garden’s grilling amenities, guests can park for free.

Bohinj’s surroundings are a great place to engage in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, paragliding, and water sports. There is cross-country skiing, ice skating, and skiing available in the winter.

We welcome your pets.

We will be pleased to greet you and offer you suggestions for things to do while visiting Bohinj.

Fishing in Bohinj

🎣 Home to at least 16 species of fish, Lake Bojinj offers the perfect environment for fishing from dawn to dusk. Fishing tickets are available at the campsite reception. Fly anglers can also obtain permits for the area from the lake outlet to the bridge in Bohinjska Bistrica.

🧗‍♀️ Bohinj is a paradise for all climbing enthusiasts! With more than 16 climbing areas and almost 500 carefully equipped climbing routes of all difficulties, it offers you an unforgettable experience of climbing in nature.

Locals say Bohinj is at the end of the world, but it is only 25 km from Bled and very well connected by transport. Bohinj can be reached by car, bus, train and coach.

In Bohinj, we recommend using public transport and the Bohinj Mobility Card – you will be fully mobile without a car, as Bohinj is a member of the Alpine Pearls Tourist Board and is thus committed to sustainable mobility and better connectivity to public transport within the Alps.

Organised services and timetables
As a contribution to sustainable mobility, we offer organised transport in Bohinj (summer season, holiday transport, ski bus, on-call transport, etc.) in addition to our regular services.

These services are not intended for organised groups of passengers!

Free Wi-Fi is available at each tourist information centre.

Parking in Bohinj is organised in free and paid car parks. We recommend buying the Bohinj Mobility Card, which offers free parking.

Swimming in Lake Bohinj is allowed, but the use of cosmetic products (shampooing) is prohibited.
